We have a Contest going on to design the artwork that will be used for our Eagle Honor Roll to be placed on the side of our Troop camping trailer. No doubt you have seen with many other troops at events we attend, their trailers are decorated with an honor roll of their Eagle Scouts with some being very simple, and others quite elaborate.

Let you imagination take you to where the Eagle soars….& come up with some ideas on how YOU would like our Troop to honor those of us who have achieved Scouting’s highest rank. This does not have to be an individual project. Maybe you have some great vision, but not much of an artistic hand-like many of us. Find a fellow Scout, or two, and together come up with your design.

Our Patrol leaders Council will first review all of the entries and decide the finalists. Then they results to the whole Troop for a final vote. In reality…we may end up with a collaboration of a couple designs. Anything is possible. But it will be your ideas that will end up being a fixture and legacy for 557 Scouts in the future. You may submit your ideas to SPL Michael or Mr. Prichard over the next few weeks and we will announce a final date soon.
